Guest Blogging

Guest Blogging on
Cre8tion Crochet

I am always looking for new networking opportunities.  I find one way that is mutually beneficial to both parties is to host a guest blogger.  I prefer to do a reciprocating guest blogging spot; I will feature you on my blog and you can feature Cre8tion Crochet on your blog.  All guest blogger spots will be advertised in the many crochet and blogging fb groups that I belong to, as well as my fb page.

In the past my guest blogging spots have been limited to free patterns from other crochet blogs but as Cre8tion Crochet’s features expand so does our guest blogging positions.  Some of the upcoming blog spots will include more business related materials such as pricing and selling your crochet work, and how to have a successful craft fair.

Currently a new guest blog post is added monthly but as we receive more requests we will be making this a twice monthly feature.  See below for our estimated current schedule.

If you are interested in becoming a guest blogger on Cre8tion Crochet please email me at [email protected] and put “guest blogger” in the subject line.  I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Check  out our advertising page for other ways to network together!!!

*AS OF 06/05/13 – the Cre8tion Crochet editorial schedule has been pushed back.  The line up will still remain the same though the dates will be different.  I apologize for any inconvenience.  It has been super hectic here, trying hard to get back on track.  Thank you for your understanding.

I really love your improved version of the ruffle scarf….thank you! It turns out really nice with Sashay yarn but with Starbella it has that flat line. I adjusted number of stitches to 7 and think that has helped. Do you have any other ideas that worked? Thank you.

Lorene September 17, 2013 at 9:59 pm

I have only used this method with the sasahy but I do have some starbella, I will try to see what I come up with… thanks

i am maki ng some of the lattice headbands, only aftter making 2 of them i realized that round 2 and round 3 are the same, both saying work on back of beginning chain, so on the 3rd i left out round 3 . i am wondering if this is just a misprint or if i am missing something. thanks

Lorene April 24, 2014 at 2:11 pm

Sorry about that… corrections made to pattern… thanks

Row 2: (You’re now working along back of beginning chain) Sl st in next 5 sts, sc in next 5 sts, hdc in next 5 sts, *ch5, sc in 3 chain space*, repeat from * to * 7 more times, ch5, hdc in next 5 sts of back of beginning chain, sc in next 5, sl st in last 5
Row 3: ch2, turn 180 degrees (working down the other side), sl st in next 5 sts, sc next 5 sts, hdc next 5 sts, *ch5, sc in ch5 space*, repeat from * to * 7 more times, ch5, hdc in next 5 sts, sc in next 5, sl st in last 5

I cannot print patterns with out getting 32 pages of print help! tried to down load pdf but could not do that either

Lorene May 13, 2014 at 4:15 pm

When you print, use the “cleanprint” option (button at the bottom of each blog post) you can then “x” out whatever you don’t want to print (just click on what you don’t want) then print only what you do want. Good luck

Also be sure nothing needs to be updated on your computer (java, adobe, etc). Both options work completely fine on my end.
